German startups can profit from the GISEP as a platform to present their ideas and businesses to Israeli investors and attract venture capital. Israel is the country with the highest venture capital expenditure per capita. The lack of growth capital poses one of the major challenges for German startups and prohibits that promising ideas turn into economically successful businesses. Israeli venture capital can solve one of the most pressing problems of the German startup ecosystem and thus strengthen Germany’s position as a startup hub. In addition, the Israeli mindset and the “chutzpah” can help German founders to scale their business ideas.
The GISEP identified six startup hotspots in Israel, each with its own industrial focus. For more information on the local activities and players, please click on the respective city as indicated on the map.
