Davidson Technology Growth Debt Fund

Eran Davidson, born in Israel, moved with his family to Berlin in 2005, following SAP founder Prof. Hasso Plattner’s vision to launch his first Venture Capital fund in Germany.

 

Eran founded Hasso Plattner Ventures group of funds (German, European and South African Venture), and served as President and Managing Partner of those funds for 8 years. Eran also founded and managed Hasso Plattner Capital, Mr. Plattner’s Family Office.

 

Since 2014 Eran is running his own fund – Davidson Technology Growth Debt, the first German fund to provide growth debt to mid/late stage High-Tech companies in Europe, with a focus on Germany.

 

Eran’s experience in Venture Capital early-stage investments goes back to 1996 when he joined one of the earliest Israeli VC Funds – Inventech, as Vice President. In 2000 Eran joined another Israeli fund, Eurofund, as its Managing Partner. From 2002 to 2005 Eran served as CEO of ProSeed VC in Tel Aviv, leading the acquisition of Technion Technological Incubator, building a consortium of international VC’s and taking it to the position of top-ranked Israeli Private Incubator.

 

Eran’s experience stretches over 20 years of IT and entrepreneurial activity, in which he founded and managed seven Venture Capital funds, in Israel, South Africa and Europe. Eran was personally responsible for over a hundred startup investments, and multiple exits in stock markets – from NASDAQ, London’s AIM, Frankfurt to Tel Aviv, including trade sales to the world’s largest technology firms.

 

Eran holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University and a MBA from Boston University. Eran is married, has 3 grown-up children and lives with his wife Berlin.
