Oran Kochavi is a serial Israeli tech entrepreneur, early stage investor & highly
involved with the Israeli Eco-System. Oran was recently named as ’30 Under 30′ by Forbes magazine. Currently, a VP @ TerraLab Ventures – Leading Israeli VC, investing in and incubating novel technology companies. Focuses on sectors that positively impacting the life of millions, such as clean energy, resource efficiency, sustainability, mobility and wellness. With 23 companies in portfolio, Terra manages total of $60M.
Oran, also served as Chairman of the Board @ IDC Entrepreneurship Club, the leading academic entrepreneurship center in Israel (Voluntary & Philanthropy).
He provides value within IDC (Israel’s Ranked – #1 College) for 2000 students from 31 countries – Through 10 different entrepreneurship programs.
Prior, Oran worked for Cannan Partners – an US based VC fund.
Oran founded 2 Start-Up companies and owned a restaurant in Tel-Aviv (Acquired after just 4 months by Israeli master chef – Nir Zouk).
He writes on regular basis Israeli economical newspapers – “The Marker”, “Globes & “Calcalist”.
Oran also launched – “Inspiration Day” – a yearly conference tackling the biggest challenges facing humanity in the 21st century, with more then 500 attendees and 20 speakers every year.
Oran lecturers within the “Executive Education” division of IDC, he also hosts
delegations of hi tech executives and politicians and represents Israel on
official tech delegations abroad.
Oran served for 3 years in IDF in the elite technological unit of MAMRAM and
graduated both LLB & BA degrees from IDC Herzliya.
