Professor Dafna Kariv is the vice president for global initiatives and development, and the Chair of NOVUS (Center of Entrepreneurship) at the College of Management Academic Studies (COMAS), Rishon Lezion, Israel. She is also in charge of the thesis program at her School and has initiated a joint international MBA program in Entrepreneurship, which she will head.

Professor Kariv is Affiliate Professor at HEC, Montreal, Canada.

She is the author of three academic books “Entrepreneurship: An International Introduction”, Routledge, UK, “Female entrepreneurship and the new venture creation”, Routledge, NY, and “Creating the Social Venture” (co-authored with Prof. Coleman), Routledge, NY. Her forthcoming book on Education and Entrepreneurship is co-authored with Prof. Alain Fayolle and Prof. Harry Matlay. Her research focuses on international entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial performance, entrepreneurial education, and gender.

She is a recipient of several prized funds including the European Commission funds; and consultant of the Ministry of Education for entrepreneurship programs.
