Chairman and CEO
Noam Band is the Chairman CEO of Algomizer LTD, a public company traded on the Tel-Aviv stock exchange (TASE: ALMO).
Mr. Band previously served as CEO of Timest, Mobillion, and Dotomi, the latter chosen in 2005 by Ernest & Young and TheMarker as the most promising Internet company. It was acquired by ValueClick in 2011 for $295 million.
Noam served as VP of Marketing for FedEx Israel and was a member of the management team. He was also the Marketing Manager for NUR Macroprinters (which was sold to HP) and was Head of Business Development for the Taldor Group. He served in the IDF as a programmer and set up a large staff of System Information developers for his unit.
Noam has a master’s degree in Business Management (MBA), a BA in Economics, and earned a Business Management degree from the Hebrew University, graduating with distinction. He invests and supports start-ups, as well as serving as a member of the acting committee for the non-profit Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Noam also serves as a judge in startup competitions, such as Mass-Challenge, Get In The Ring, Creative Business Cap, Startup Open Competition, Unistream’s Entrepreneur Of The Year, and more. Noam is a mentor at the Hebrew University mentors program for MBA students and occasionally represents Israel in international conferences as a representative of the Startup Nation.
